Joel Corriveau **
Corriveau completed a BAH in Drama at Queen’s University (2004) and a BFA in Electroacoustics at Concordia University (2007). He is passionate about story-telling, truthfulness, playfulness, the body’s response to sound and sounds produced of the body.
Regardless a decidedly French name, Corriveau hails from Orillia, ON: the proud home of Stephen Leacock, Brian Orser, Sir Samuel Steele, Franklin Carmichael and the one and only Gordon Lightfoot. What noble geographic lineage for a small town in central Ontario. He is not to be found without a sense of humor.
Joel Corriveau is an artist-in-residence at matralab.
