Banff Centre (Alberta)

Chantale Laplante and Julian Stein will be at the Banff Centre Leigthon Studio Colony, from April 20 to May 2, to work on a research-creation project for a new piano work commisionned by Luciane Cardassi with support from Canada Council for the Arts.

Live electronics and spatialisation will be explored and performed in the Davidson Studio, for an immersive listening experience, the piano sounds extending into the surrounding forest.
