PRANA for trombone quartet is a music composition by Sandeep Bhagwati that will be premiered on May 10th, 2021.

The four wonderful trombonists of the New York SO WRONG IT’S RIGHT TROMBONE QUARTET will be performing a one-hour (short) version of this meditative work as part of the TENOR Conference on Technologies of Notation and Representation at the Musikhochschule Hamburg.

Composer’s tip: After a long day at the home office, this is the right music to kick back to with headphones on and sink into the sound with your eyes closed for once. It is a video stream, but there is not really anything illuminating to see – everything essential happens in the sound.
