For the sixth edition of matralab explore, we’re pleased to present matralab guest artist Julian Klein who will showcase examples of his past and present works. Klein is an interdisciplinary composer and theatre director, as well as the Director of the Institute for Artistic Research Berlin and an editor of the Journal for Artistic Research.
Feel free to bring along interested friends to this artist talk and discussion. This event is open to all. As space is limited, please RSVP to matralab@gmail.com before noon on Wednesday, February 25th.
If possible, bring some munchies and/or a bottle (juice/water/wine, etc) to share.
Later in the week, Klein will be leading the Montreal ensemble Ciao Rhino and selected Concordia students through a brief introduction to his mise-en-musique technique. The group will collaboratively develop a public music theatre performance presented on March 1.
