This past January, Sandeep composed a new work for string orchestra:

VISTAR is a 13 min meditative exploration of melodies in Hindustani art music.

The Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, who commissioned the work, will take it on their India tour these coming two weeks: in all six cities, they will perform it together with works by Bach (Brandenburg III, double violin concerto) and Brahms (String Symphony op 111).

All the performances are free entry. Passes can be collected from the Goethe Institute | Max Muller Bhavan in the respective cities.
