Conversations About Interpretation: Sandeep Bhagwati’s “Miyagi Haiku No. 7”

Several student ensembles, from Jazz to Laptop and Voice to Instruments, have been creating their own versions of Sandeep Bhagwati’s “Miyagi Haiku No. 7” score. On October 24, Sandeep and Liselyn Adams, Chair of the Department of Music, will join these students to listen to and discuss their renditions. The performance will be followed by a broader conversation about musical interpretation.
