On 6 March 2015, eight student composers and sound artists from several Montreal universities performed their interpretation of Sandeep Bhagwati’s poem-score “Let This Sound Slowly Dissipate” in public space. This performance was the result of a three-month composition workshop with the students led by Adam Basanta since December 2014. Bhagwati’s original text-score was inspired by Andy Goldsworthy’s impermanent, site-specific environmental land art sculptures.
This public performance took place at La Cinémathèque québécoise. Video by Ralitsa Doncheva.
