Master’s degree in Directing from the Theatre and Film Academy of Bucharest, Romania, 1984, Master of Arts from Emerson College, Boston, 1996. Rod Parker Award for Dramaturgy, 1994, Best One Act Play, New England One Act Plays Festival, 1995. Best Director, Young Open Theatre Festival, Skopje, Macedonia, 1991, Best Director, Political Plays Festival, Braila, Romania, 1989.Living in Montreal since 1996, author of nine plays in both English and French, five of which were produced under her own direction by Le Théâtre de l’Utopie between 1999 and 2004 (see www.theatre-utopie.com).
