About matralab Artist Residencies

On invitation or by application, university reseachers and professional artists can use the matrabox for projects related to the research interests of matralab director Sandeep Bhagwati. These residencies typically are between 1 day and 1 month in duration. During longer residencies, the space is expected to be shared with other artists/researchers.

A residency can take different forms – access to the space only, access to space with some technical assistance, access to the space with research support, or full collaboration – according to project needs and availability.
